Service Technician (Full Time)

SE Melbourne location

This is a Full time position within a National base company which involves assisting in the daily running of its Victorian branch office for sales and servicing of its Metal stamping machinery product range. Press Shop Automation (A division of Roblan P/L) is focused on the supply of Metal stamping capital equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand with its Head office being located in NSW.

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and energetic qualified trade Service Technician to join our very small but dynamic team in a well-appointed office located in Dingley.

You will be responsible for the servicing of existing plant and new plant installations, co-ordination of sub contractors and customer product training.

The ideal candidate would have an electrical background and have the ability to carry out general type fitter/mechanical installation tasks, would be highly regarded.

You must be able to work autonomously and be able to create and maintain a high level of customer relationship. Travel is required to cover the territory of South Australia and West Australia and possible visits to our overseas suppliers from time to time.

• Hold a relevant qualified trade certificate or equivalent
• Excellent Communication and phone Skills
• Excellent Presentation
• Excellent project management skills to oversee various jobs
• Must be computer literate
• Must be technically sound in Mechanical skills & be able to carry out electrical duties
• Able to co-ordinate management of service staff and or sub contractors as required
• Be able to handle a large and heavy workload
• Must have excellent customer focus for opportunities when they are presented
• Able to think outside the box
• Excellent employment history in a service role is essential
• Work well with your team and other staff members
• Excellent knowledge of OH &S skills will be favorable
• Understand the Capital Equipment industry and to have had experience in that field or a similar industry.
• Must have a current car driver's license. A forklift license would be an advantage to applicants and should be noted in their CV.

Hours are from Monday to Friday and from 8.00am to 4.30pm (40 hours / week)
