Eric commenced employment with Roblan in January 1975, as an apprentice toolmaker. Upon completion of his apprenticeship he obtained a Certificate in Plastics Engineering. He helped to manage the newly formed Manufacturing Accessories Department of Roblan. In 1982 Eric was appointed Manager of the Manufacturing Accessories Department; he held this position until his promotion to Corporate Engineer. In 1990 Eric was invited by the Board of Directors of Roblan Pty Limited to become Manufacturing Director, and in 1998 he was elected Managing Director. Eric has travelled overseas extensively to obtain information from the United States of America, Japan and Europe. He is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Precision Metalforming Association. Eric was appointed Commodore and a Director of the St. George Motor Boat Club in August 1999. Eric is a member of the TQM Steering Committee.
