Paul completed his Toolmaking Apprenticeship at The Small Arms Factory in Lithgow, west of Sydney, in 1989. In order to increase his skills and gain experience in both press metal stamping and plastic mould tools, Paul worked with G.J. Brown Tool & Die Company, Extrusion Machine Company, Nepean Engineering and Premier Tooling over the next two decades. Paul joined Roblan's Tooling Division in January 2007. His skills, wire cutting knowledge and attention to detail were soon noted, and in December 2008 Paul was promoted to the position of Tooling Division Manager.
