Wayne Younie commenced employment with Roblan Pty Ltd on 18th April 1994, as an Apprentice Toolmaker. During his training and apprenticeship, Wayne's exceptional talent was noted by his supervisor and mentor, Joe Balsamo. In 1996, at the Sydney Regional WorkSkills Competition for CNC Machining, Wayne was awarded the Gold Medal. Later that year he took gold at the 8th National WorkSkills Final. This saw Wayne represent Australia at the 34th Youth Skill Olympics, in St Galen, Switzerland, in June 1997. Wayne was promoted to Head Toolmaker at Roblan's Ingleburn site, in August 1999. Then in January 2001, he accepted the position of Production Planner for the Pressing Division. In October 2003 Wayne was appointed as Assistant Manager of the Pressing Division. October 2011 saw Wayne appointed to Sales Manager of the PSA Division. Wayne is a Member of the OH&S Workplace Committee.
